On December 9, 2014, at the gracious invitation of Alan Saliwanchik, Mark gave a presentation at Sinclair Community College (the largest community college in the country). The audience was a local “service club", Ta-Wa-Si, (roughly translated as “Friend/Helper”) of about 100 business people.

He spoke for approximately 45 minutes, talking about the re-release of "Last at Bat", and about where he and his team are in the process of bringing the novel to the screen—hint—Crowd Funding and The Search for Dylan Michael, both commencing spring 2015.

During his appearance, two videos were shown, “Last at Bat” Sizzle trailer and the World Premiere of Los Angeles based Producer/Director Jijo Reed’s teaser trailer, “The Search for Dylan Michael”.

The audience was particularly receptive, posing several comments and questions at the conclusion of Mark’s presentation:

"This is the first time I have heard of these two things (crowd funding and talent search) being done together, great concept--I think it will be successful."

"Great stuff, looking forward to hearing more about this."

"My grandkids are too young, but we have neighbor boys that play ball, I think they'll be interested."

"Damn, if I was 12 years old I'd be all over this. Need a player 52?"

"Could I nominate more than one player?"

"Great idea, man, you could have a monster on your hands."

"How much did those videos cost? They looked very expensive. Top notch."

"Great videos. Very professional."

"Wow, those videos were really cool."

"Loved Last at Bat. I read it in two days. Couldn't put it down."

"Last at Bat sounds like a great story. I'll take two books, please."

"Really good presentation."

"When will the movie come out, I want to see it."

It was a fun afternoon, we met a lot of really nice people, and continued to enjoy a great reception to “Last at Bat” and upcoming plans. Our many thanks to Ta-Wa-Si and Mr. Saliwanchik for a wonderful lunch and warm reception.
