In 1893 a German immigrant sets up a fruit stand at 42nd and Broadway in NYC.
Over the next 125 years that location takes on several rebuilding projects until in 2012 it is a gleaming office tower worth over a billion dollars.
But a descendent of one the several owners of that lot finds a document in a burned out briefcase that changes everything, including who may own that piece of New York Dirt.
Five people who work in the building have never met each other but will learn their lives are entwined in legacy’s that go back to 1893.
